Samsung is set to unveil its latest portable projector, the Freestyle+, at the upcoming CES tech show in Las Vegas. This compact device is an enhanced version of the previous Freestyle model, boasting advanced AI capabilities, improved brightness, and a wider range of entertainment options.
One key upgrade in the Freestyle+ is its simplified setup process for users. With Samsung’s AI OptiScreen technology, the projector can automatically adjust the image to match its surroundings without any manual adjustments. This feature allows users to easily enjoy content from platforms like Netflix and Disney+ on almost any wall.
The AI OptiScreen technology also introduces several intelligent functions to enhance the viewing experience. These include 3D Auto Keystone for correcting image distortion on various surfaces, Real-time Focus to maintain picture sharpness while moving the projector, Screen Fit to adjust image size according to compatible screens, and Wall Calibration to improve image quality based on the projection surface.
The Freestyle+ continues the tradition of portability with a built-in speaker, Wi-Fi connectivity, and support for popular streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. Samsung’s Executive Vice President, Hun Lee, emphasized the device’s adaptability to different living spaces, making it easier for users to enjoy high-quality content wherever they go.
Although pricing details are yet to be disclosed, the Freestyle+ is anticipated to hit stores early in 2026, offering a seamless and immersive viewing experience for consumers.
