“Four Investors Win £100K in Premium Bonds Draw”

Four fortunate Premium Bonds investors have each secured £100,000 prizes by acquiring their winning bonds exclusively in December. The bonds became eligible for the February 2026 draw onwards, requiring ownership for a full month to qualify. Notably, one of the £100,000 winners obtained a £50 bond in December 2025.

Residing in Essex, one winner holds £19,150 in total in Premium Bonds, while the second winner from Brighton and Hove possesses £38,025 in total, with their winning bond valued at £13,000. The remaining two £100,000 winners each have £50,000 saved in Premium Bonds, with one living in Cheshire and the other in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

In each month, two £1 million Premium Bond prizes are distributed, with one of the February 2026 draw’s significant winners hailing from Liverpool and the other from Central Bedfordshire. Premium Bonds, a savings product by National Savings & Investment (NS&I), offer participants the chance to enter a monthly prize draw instead of receiving a fixed interest rate.

Prizes range from £25 to £1 million, though winning monthly prizes is not guaranteed, and smaller prizes outnumber larger sums. Typically, numerous £25 prizes are awarded, alongside just two £1 million prizes, with £50,000 being the maximum amount that can be saved in Premium Bonds. Each pound invested corresponds to a unique bond number, with odds of winning each month at 22,000 to 1 for every £1 bond.

Winners are notified via email or text message by NS&I upon winning a prize, giving the option to receive the money in a bank account or reinvest it in Premium Bonds. The current prize fund rate, akin to an interest rate for Premium Bonds, stands at 3.60% since the August 2025 draw.

Recent data disclosed by This is Money revealed the luckiest regions for winning Premium Bond prizes. In 2025, 42 individuals in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight secured the second-largest Premium Bond prize of £100,000. Essex, with 37 winners of £100,000 prizes, followed by Outer London with 32 winners, showcased notable success. Moreover, the £1 million jackpot was claimed twice in Norwich and Cumbria in 2025.
