“New Look Launches Loyalty Program for Exclusive Discounts”

New Look has introduced its inaugural loyalty program offering special discounts to members.

Enrolling in Club New Look is cost-free and comes with advantages such as weekly “Club Prices” on specific items, early access to sales and promotions, and participation in exclusive contests.

Upon joining, members receive a 25% welcome discount. The fashion retailer aims to enhance the shopping experience for its 10 million identified customers by providing personalized services.

CEO Helen Connolly stated, “At New Look, we continuously seek ways to acknowledge and appreciate our customers. Club New Look, our new loyalty initiative, aims to provide exclusive benefits that make our members feel valued, recognized, and motivated.”

Following a successful initial phase that attracted 500,000 customers to the club, New Look targets 800,000 members by the end of the fiscal year. The company plans to expand this program nationwide as part of its strategy to create a more personalized and digitally focused shopping experience.

In other retail news, US brand Anthropologie plans to open three new stores in the UK, expanding its presence on high streets after establishing its flagship UK store in London in 2009.

Additionally, Gap is making a comeback to the UK high street with three new standalone stores. After closing its last UK store in September 2021, Gap will open a flagship store in Covent Garden on November 6, followed by branches in Westfield London on December 4 and Wembley Park London Designer Outlet on December 12.

Gap currently operates four shop-in-shop concepts within Next stores and more than 40 concessions in Next stores across England and Ireland.

Following store closures earlier this year, including 26 in the Republic of Ireland, New Look is reportedly considering further closures due to increased costs related to wage and National Insurance rates. While a quarter of its stores may be at risk, New Look has not confirmed this information and states it currently operates 338 stores in the UK.
