A recent study conducted by Shelter, a homelessness charity, revealed that over half (52%) of teachers in England have encountered students who were homeless within the last year. Among the surveyed teachers, approximately one-third (31%) had directly interacted with homeless students, while an additional 20% were aware of homeless students within their school community.
