Uncover Tesco Discounts: Coupon King’s Clever Trick

Bargain expert Jordon Cox has shared a clever trick for uncovering when a discount is set to expire at Tesco. Known as the “Coupon King” on ITV’s This Morning, Jordon often imparts money-saving advice on social media platforms.

In a recent video, Jordon highlighted that products under the Clubcard Price promotion feature a specific six-digit number indicating the offer’s end date. By interpreting this number in reverse order, you can discern the expiry date: the last two digits represent the day, the middle two denote the month, and the first two signify the year.

This revelation coincides with Tesco’s reminder for customers to utilize £16.5 million worth of expiring Clubcard vouchers by November 30. Accumulating Clubcard points is simple – earn one point for every £1 spent on groceries, every two liters of fuel purchased at Tesco petrol stations, every pound spent with Tesco Mobile, every £4 spent using a Tesco credit card, and every pound transacted through a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card.

Redeemable for £1.50 at Tesco, Clubcard vouchers necessitate a minimum of 150 points. Presently, more than 24 million UK households possess a Tesco Clubcard.

Tesco’s Group Membership and Loyalty Director, Shama Wilson, emphasized the value of utilizing expiring vouchers, noting that the current quarter’s expiring vouchers could equate to 6.6 million cinema tickets at Cineworld or £49.5 million in PizzaExpress reward codes.
