White House Chaos Erupts: Trump’s Chief of Staff Sparks Controversy

Chaos erupted in Donald Trump’s White House following a controversial interview by his chief of staff, Susie Wiles, who labeled it a “hit piece” despite participating in 11 interviews for the article. In the interview, Wiles claimed that the President’s team is aware of his inclusion in the Epstein Files and accused him of displaying characteristics of an alcoholic personality. Wiles resorted to posting on X after a year to counter Vanity Fair’s profile of her, indicating internal unrest within the White House.

A source close to the administration informed the Mirror that Wiles is unlikely to be removed due to the article but predicted that it would greatly upset the President. The source stated that Trump might react by expressing anger and frustration, noting his limited options for support at the moment.

Trump faced backlash for his insensitive remarks about the late film director Rob Reiner, whom he incorrectly accused of succumbing to “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Reiner, known for directing popular films like This Is Spinal Tap and The Princess Bride, tragically lost his life alongside his wife, with their son arrested and charged for their murders.

During the interviews, Wiles described Trump, a teetotaler, as exhibiting traits of an alcoholic personality and believing in his invincibility. She made controversial statements about Elon Musk’s drug use, alleging him as an avid ketamine user and humorously mentioning his social media activity while “microdosing.”

Despite denying making certain remarks to Vanity Fair regarding Musk, Wiles criticized Attorney General Pam Bondi’s handling of the Epstein case and public perceptions in a recent Vanity Fair interview. She specifically highlighted Bondi’s distribution of information-lacking binders and misleading statements about Epstein’s client list.

In the interviews, Wiles mentioned recognizing similarities between Trump and her father, Pat Summerall, a sports broadcaster known for his struggles with alcoholism. She attempted to discourage Trump from seeking revenge on his political adversaries, acknowledging his inclination towards settling scores when given the opportunity.

Wiles further criticized various political figures in her interviews, referring to Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr as “quirky bobby,” Vice President JD Vance as a “conspiracy theorist,” and Musk as an “odd, odd duck” with unpredictable actions. She condemned Musk’s decision to shut down the USAID agency without proper consideration.

Regarding the profile, Wiles labeled it as a “hit piece” but did not dispute any specific details attributed to her. She defended herself against the negative portrayal, emphasizing that essential context was excluded in the article.

Karoline Leavitt supported Wiles, asserting Trump’s reliance on her invaluable counsel and leadership within the Administration. Wiles, who led Trump’s 2024 campaign and became the first female White House chief of staff, aimed to control access to the President and shield him from unwelcome influences.
