Attention fans of the popular TV series “Heated Rivalry”: The Straw + Berry won’t be serving smoothies to you, and you won’t be able to visit the cottage either until Season 2 filming is complete. Director Jacob Tierney has kindly requested space for the cast and crew of the show while they are on set, as conveyed through the official Instagram account of “Heated Rivalry.”
In a message directed to the show’s devoted fans, it was emphasized that if fans happen to stumble upon any filming locations, they should respect the cast and crew’s need for space to carry out their work effectively.
Season 2 of “Heated Rivalry” is currently being shot primarily in Toronto and Montreal, with the possibility of revisiting some familiar sites in Hamilton, Ontario. Fans have shown great enthusiasm to catch a glimpse of the show’s stars, Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie. Recently, the duo was spotted together in downtown Toronto, sparking excitement among fans, with Williams even causing a stir after being seen carrying a Canadian Tire reusable bag.
The queer hockey romance series, which premiered in late 2025, quickly gained a global fan base for Williams and Storrie, propelling them to a level of fame uncommon for Canadian TV stars. Both actors have since maintained boundaries with fans and paparazzi.
Not long ago, Williams faced a tense situation with alleged autograph-sellers in Paris who had followed him and his team to their lodgings. In a similar vein, Sarah Polley’s film adaptation of “The Bell Jar,” featuring pop sensation Billie Eilish, is also drawing attention in Toronto, despite efforts to keep the set closed.
While photos from the set have surfaced on social media, there hasn’t been a formal request for privacy from the director or the film’s official social media channels yet.
