According to accounts, a different agent informed the doctor that Emergency Medical Services were en route and that they had their own medical personnel onsite. The tense exchange was reportedly captured on video, with a bystander expressing distress over the situation. Renee Good, a 37-year-old mother, tragically lost her life during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation in Minneapolis, prompting a mix of reactions across the country.
Footage of the event depicted a masked federal agent firing several shots at Good’s vehicle, which then collided with another car after attempting to flee. Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin asserted that the agent acted in self-defense, claiming that a rioter had allegedly tried to run over federal officers. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem labeled the incident as an “act of domestic terrorism.”
