“Sky Unveils Ultimate TV Package: Disney+, Netflix, HBO Max & More for £24/Month”

Sky has unveiled an exciting update that is set to capture the attention of viewers. The television provider is rolling out a new subscription package that combines several popular streaming services at a reduced monthly rate. Priced at just £24 per month, customers, both new and existing, will gain access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming feature-rich HBO Max app, scheduled for launch in the coming month.

According to Sky, this bundled offering delivers excellent value for money, incorporating approximately £20 worth of streaming apps for a lower price. Considering that Sky’s standard plan is currently priced at £15 per month, the additional content effectively costs only £9 more.

Moreover, subscribers to the Ultimate TV plan will enjoy access to over 130 channels, including Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, Sky History, and more.

In addition to these benefits, Sky Cinema users will receive a dedicated Disney movie channel integrated directly into their planner, enabling them to watch Disney blockbusters without needing to open the Disney+ app.

Existing Disney+ subscribers who sign up through Sky can seamlessly transfer their current plan, whether Standard or Premium, while retaining their profiles and viewing history.

Sky has confirmed that all supported apps will be easily accessible from the homepage, offering fully integrated content. This feature allows users to discover shows and films through voice search and save them to a Playlist for future viewing.

The new Sky Ultimate plan will be available across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms.

Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, expressed that this update signifies a new chapter for Sky and NOW, uniting Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription. She highlighted the integrated viewing experience and exceptional value for customers, with HBO Max included at no extra charge for NOW Entertainment subscribers.

Sky emphasized that this move reflects its commitment to innovation, streamlining the process for viewers to enjoy premium entertainment in a single location.

The comprehensive update includes the following components:

– Netflix Standard with Ads
– Disney+ Standard with Ads (effective from March, date to be confirmed)
– HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching in the UK & Ireland on 26th March)
– Hayu (available from July, with select top shows accessible from March)
– PLUS: Over 130 channels from Sky

This transformative update aims to enhance the viewing experience for Sky customers by offering a wide range of content at an attractive price point.
