“Apple Releases Crucial Update to Fix iPhone Wireless Charging Issue”

Apple has rolled out a crucial update for iPhone users experiencing wireless charging issues. The problem has restricted some devices to only being able to charge via MagSafe, prompting users to check for updates immediately. The affected models include the iPhone 17 series, including the Pro and Pro Max variants, as well as the iPhone Air.

According to Apple, a small number of users have been impacted by the charging glitch, particularly when the battery is almost drained. To resolve this, users can easily update their devices by navigating to Settings, selecting General, and then tapping on Software Update. The update, labeled iOS 26.5.1, can be installed promptly or scheduled for a later time, preferably overnight due to the sizable 13.6GB file size.

Looking ahead, Apple enthusiasts can anticipate significant updates as the company’s WWDC Developers Conference is set to commence on June 8. During this event, Apple is expected to unveil the new iOS 27 upgrade, introducing a host of innovative features that could enhance the devices’ intelligence and AI capabilities.

Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations, Susan Prescott, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming WWDC event, highlighting the platform as a hub for global developers to converge and celebrate technology and collaboration. Mirror Online will provide real-time coverage of the event, starting at 6pm BST.
