“Video of Minnesota Shooting Contradicts White House Narrative”

A recent examination conducted by the Mirror of the ICE agent’s Minnesota shooting footage unveils significant details regarding Renee Good’s shooting incident, which contradicts the narrative being promoted by the White House.

The video footage of the Minnesota shooting incident, released recently, captures the final moments of Renee Good’s life through the lens of the shooter. This directly challenges the assertions made by Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, suggesting that Renee Good intentionally targeted the ICE agent who shot her and that the agent acted in self-defense. An in-depth analysis of the video, published by the right-leaning local outlet Alpha News, clearly indicates that Ms. Good was maneuvering away from the agent who eventually shot her. The footage reveals that the agent changed hands on his phone, freeing his right hand to draw his weapon ten seconds later.

The video commences with the ICE agent exiting his vehicle and approaching Renee Good’s maroon Honda Pilot. As he circles the front of the car, Good can be seen steering left and reversing slightly while calmly stating, “That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad at you.”

The agent proceeds to walk around the vehicle, capturing the license plate with his phone camera for documentation. During this time, a woman, believed to be Good’s wife, engages in conversation with him. He then shifts his phone to his left hand, allowing him to continue filming while keeping his right hand available to draw his firearm.

Before reaching the front of Good’s vehicle, the agent prepares to draw his gun, a full ten seconds before doing so. As other ICE agents approach the scene and instruct Good to exit her car, the shooter moves around the front of her vehicle. Good then reverses slightly before turning her steering wheel completely to the right, with her wheels following suit. The shooter then fires a shot through the windshield, followed by two more shots through the open side window as the car speeds away, accompanied by derogatory remarks.

Despite claims by JD Vance and Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin asserting that the new video supports the officer’s self-defense stance, it is evident that it does not. Minnesota Mayor Jacob Frey dismisses any self-defense argument as baseless.

Law enforcement experts note that while the video did not alter their perspective on the use of force, it does raise concerns about the officer’s training. Questions are raised about the officer’s ability to simultaneously hold a gun and a cellphone while filming, indicating a need to scrutinize the training protocols. The footage also suggests that the officers did not perceive Good as a threat, as highlighted by experts in policing and criminology.
