The daughter of a man with cannibalistic tendencies has shared her enduring love for her father, despite his gruesome act of consuming her stepmother. Jamie-Lee Arrow described her childhood home as resembling a scene from a horror movie while reminiscing about her life with “The Skara Cannibal.”
In 2010, Jamie-Lee’s father, Isakin Drabbad, murdered his partner Helle Christensen and cannibalized parts of her body. He was convicted of murder and initially confined to a mental health institution in 2011. However, he transitioned to outpatient status in 2020 and was provided with accommodation in his hometown in Sweden.
Recounting the deteriorating relationship between her father and his partner, Jamie-Lee revealed that despite their initial happiness, Helle had forewarned her about Drabbad’s intentions to harm her. The escalating conflict culminated in a tragic incident where Drabbad fatally attacked Helle in the presence of Jamie-Lee and her two siblings.
Following the brutal murder on November 12, 2010, Drabbad gruesomely mutilated Helle’s body by decapitating her and dismembering her limbs for consumption. Despite the shocking revelation of her stepmother’s death, Jamie-Lee expressed her initial disbelief and eventual acceptance of her father’s heinous actions.
The ghastly incident involving Drabbad became a notorious case in Sweden, documented in the film “Evil Lives Here: The Killer Speaks.” Jamie-Lee disclosed unsettling details about her upbringing, including her father’s introduction of macabre “voodoo dolls” and a pervasive fascination with satanic themes and horror imagery.
Despite the disturbing circumstances of her upbringing, Jamie-Lee conveyed her enduring affection for her father, emphasizing the complexity of familial bonds. She underscored her commitment to providing her own children with love, safety, and positivity, striving to shield them from the darkness she experienced in her past.
