“Six-year-old girl gang-raped, killed in Bulandshahr tragedy”

A tragic incident unfolded in the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, India, where a six-year-old girl lost her life after being gang-raped and thrown from a rooftop, as confirmed by the police on Friday.

The young victim was swiftly taken to a nearby hospital following the heinous assault but, despite medical efforts, she was declared dead upon arrival. Authorities successfully apprehended two suspects, identified as Raju and Veeru, after a brief exchange of gunfire in the Sikandrabad industrial area. Both individuals sustained gunshot wounds during the confrontation and were subsequently hospitalized for treatment, with police recovering firearms and ammunition at the scene.

The victim’s father filed a formal complaint, prompting law enforcement to mobilize three specialized teams to track down the perpetrators. Superintendent of Police Dr. Tejveer Singh disclosed that the accused resorted to gunfire when approached by officers.

Singh informed the press that the suspects confessed to their involvement during initial questioning. Allegedly, the girl, who lived in the same building as the perpetrators, was assaulted while playing on the terrace, according to reports. Family members allege that she was sexually assaulted before being thrown off the roof, prompting authorities to order a post-mortem examination to verify the rape allegations.

Further charges are expected to be filed in the case pending the release of medical findings. The incident has sparked outrage in the region, shedding light on prevalent concerns regarding crimes against women and children in India.

In a separate event, an 18-year-old individual from Pennsylvania, Jarrod Noll, has been arrested for allegedly shooting both of his parents, resulting in the death of his mother the day after Christmas. Noll was apprehended in West Virginia following an extensive search by Pennsylvania law enforcement, with authorities confirming that he was armed at the time of his capture. The tragic incident occurred on December 26 at around 1:58 pm local time.

Law enforcement disclosed that Noll’s younger siblings were present at the scene during the shooting but remained unharmed as the incident unfolded outdoors. The siblings, whose identities have been withheld, are currently under the care of a relative.

Noll is currently in police custody in West Virginia awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania to face charges of homicide and attempted homicide.
