Another body has been recovered from the water in Withernsea during a search and rescue mission for four missing individuals. Police have confirmed that a 67-year-old man and another person have died after encountering difficulties in the sea off the coast of East Yorkshire.

A representative from Humberside police stated that a second body was found in the sea, and the circumstances are not deemed suspicious. The Coastguard was alerted to individuals in distress in the water at Withernsea around 3:10 pm on January 2. HM Coastguard resources, including helicopters, aircraft, and rescue teams, are involved in the operation, along with RNLI lifeboats and other emergency services.

The search for the final missing person is continuing through the night, with emergency services maintaining a presence at the scene.
